About Dambulla Royal Cave Temple and Golden Temple
The cave sanctuary complex, which includes more than 150 Buddha statues and hundreds of colorful paintings, is a special experience. The first of the five large caves is said to be 2,500 years old, but the colors and shapes have been perfectly preserved under the influence of minimal light. Its approach here also begins with a multi-step climb, but it is worth the scenic sight.
