Ranawana Purana Rajamaha Viharaya was one of the largest and one of the most beautiful temples in Sri Lanka with the 100 Feet height Walking Buddha Statue will be the first graceful and largest standing Buddha statue ever built in the world. Another important thing is the one and only similar model of the north entrance of Saanchi sthupa in India is at Ranawana Rajamaha Viharaya.
