About Ritigala Strict Natural Reserve
Ritigala has a ancient history. Some of stories about ritigala jayasena.. gotaimbara and jayasena had a fight for their glory in this mountain. Also in the past there are so many monks became arahath in here. This is a restricted area. We can not climb the whole mountain without the permission.
