Sera Ella is a waterfall located in the Matale District of Sri Lanka. It is situated in the Dumbara jungle, about 5 miles from the town of Laggala. The waterfall is formed by the Kitul Canal, which flows down the Kaudagammana mountain and the Hunumadala River. The waterfall is 10 meters high and 15-20 meters wide. One of the unique features of Sera Ella is that there is a cave behind the waterfall that visitors can walk into. This allows them to see the waterfall from behind, which is a rare experience. The best time to visit Sera Ella is during the rainy season, when the water level is high.
