About Yapahuwa Rock Fortress
Historical place. Like the famous Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa kingdoms, Yapahuwa was once a Kingdom and this rock has been its fortress for many years. Won�t take much time to cover the whole area, maybe around an hour 1-2. As a defense mechanism, you could see the main staircase been constructed in a angle of 70 degrees so the people on top could see who�s coming but not the enemy who�s climbing up the stairs.
